How Beautiful You Are!
February 23, 2009
These kids are amazing! Being an educator for ten years, I never had the opportunity to work with primary grades. My passion for teaching has always been with the intermediate students (4th grade and higher). Ten years ago, I thought primary teachers dealt with crying, and tattling far more than they should. This was a big turn off for me. After viewing Mrs. Puglisi's first grade class blog, I feel like I've missed out on a whole new world of fresh and eager minds. These children are being exposed to history, culture and the arts at a very impressionable age. This blog depicts what a typical first grade class should be exploring. Don't forget to check out the President Obama pictures. Very cute!!
Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMy class really is wonderful, full of inquiry and phenomenal observers.
I've taught 25 or 26 years, depending on whether I count a subbing year in K-6, mostly in 1st and 4th. All the grades taught me to think on my feet and were great opportunities. Young kis are certainly a gift, make my life just great.
Thanks for this, you made my day.
